About Yasmin
Yasmin Hollis is a Registered Psychotherapist working with youths, adults and couples, and the owner of EvenMind Psychotherapy. She obtained her Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality from the Saint Paul University in 2015, where she specialized in couple and family counselling.
Yasmin is committed to providing a space that is inclusive and non-judgmental. She works from a trauma-informed, feminist, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and body-positive framework in the hopes that it is a welcome space for all to find balance, acceptance and calm within themselves and in their relationships.
In therapy with Yasmin, you can expect to be greeted warmly and to move at a pace you feel comfortable at. Yasmin will work with you to determine how long therapy should last but no matter the length she will help you to become the best self-compassionate and loving version of yourself as an individual or within a couple. She will begin by helping you to explore and understand what has shaped you to become who you are today, then help you to set goals for the person you would like to be at the end of your treatment journey. For her couples, she approaches treatment from an attachment perspective that acknowledges the wounds and gifts we all bring to our relationships.
Fun facts about Yasmin: 1. She is the proud mother of two wonderful children; 2. She is a second-generation Caribbean immigrant, 3. She loves all things coffee, and 4. She has wanted to be a therapist since she was young!
